Confirmed! Kanye West Is Launching A Fashion Line This Fall

Elle U.K. reports that Kanye West is really, truly launching his women's fashion line this fall. He's not doing it all by himself, though—with the help from master-designer Louise Goldin, and advice from Central Saint Martins' professor Louis Wilson, West will launch his label during this year's New York Fashion Week. Said Wilson, "I can confirm that Kanye has been to visit me twice at Saint Martins and we have briefly discussed this collaboration. His visit was in part to employ interns for his label, and it’s important to mention that he’s supported our fashion school and made an immediate donation to Saint Martins, which perhaps further demonstrates his passion for the industry. I've known him for two years now and he's incredibly knowledgeable about fashion, he's a global phenomenon and a very interesting person. I think we can expect a well-considered collection, you wouldn't expect less from a pair of professionals and I warn against dismissing it in haste. There are those who might assume Louise will be doing all the work and Kanye is just the face, I don't believe this will be the case—he researches thoroughly and is hands-on and committed to his work." A big baby from Texas weighing in at 16 pounds gave parents Janet Johnson and Micael Brown one hell of a shock.

Hefty JaMichael Brown, who was born at more than TWICE the weight of a normal baby, is believed to be the heaviest newborn to arrive at Good Michael Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas. (They say everything’s bigger in Texas … but damn!)

Woman Tries To Sneak Husband Out Of Jail In Suitcase

CHETUMAL, Mexico — Police say a woman was caught trying to sneak her common-law-husband out of a Mexican prison in a suitcase following a conjugal visit.

A spokesman for police in the Caribbean state of Quintana Roo says staff at the prison in Chetumal noticed that the woman seemed nervous and was pulling a black, wheeled suitcase that looked bulky.

Spokesman Gerardo Campos said Monday that prison guards checked the bag of 19-year-old Maria del Mar Arjona and found inmate Juan Ramirez Tijerina curled up inside in the fetal position.

Ramirez is serving a 20-year sentence for a 2007 conviction for illegal weapons possession.

Arjona was arrested and charges are pending.

I'm usually a short bare fingernails kind of girl (you have to be when you're dealing with ink and printing all day) but this is something I MUST try out sometime... It's a clever little imprint nail design you can do with newspapers you have around the house. Very cute! VIA

You will need:

• Scissors

• Pale Nail Polish

 •  Clear Varnish (& Top Coat)

• Newspaper

• Alcohol (Vodka or other)

Directions:

1. Paint nails with light polish.

2. Apply varnish.

3. Put alcohol in a small glass. 

4. Cut small pieces of paper newspaper (big enough to cover nail.)

5. When nails are dry, soak them in alcohol.

6. Cover your nails with the small pieces of paper newspaper. 

7. After a few seconds, remove pieces of newspaper slowly. 

8. Let dry and apply a layer of top coat.
